Dream Doers Publishing is built on a simple conviction: meaningful work requires backbone.

The work published here is shaped by moral clarity, disciplined craftsmanship, and respect for the reader.

We do not chase trends, soften conviction to make sales, or produce work we wouldn’t stand behind ten years from now.

This is a publishing house for readers who expect substance AND are willing to live it out.

Why This Publishing House Exists

I started Dream Doers Publishing because I didn’t want to outsource my dreams.

I wanted to take responsibility for them.

Not through the long and boring road of finding an agent...

Who would find a publisher...

Who would have the final say in what went in my books.

But by stewarding the story spark from idea to published to YOU.

I wanted to build a professional publishing home for books that are meant to do something—to strengthen the reader, sharpen conviction, and hold up under real life.

Dream Doers Publishing exists to steward meaningful work all the way through completion, excellence, and reach.

But I haven't always treated it with the respect it deserved.

The Buried Dream

For more than two decades, my life didn’t match the scale of what I felt called to do.

As D.K. Drake, I published the first three books of the Dragon Stalker Bloodlines Saga. Then stalled. For YEARS.

I could list all sorts of legitimate sounding excuses, but the bottom line is that I hadn’t yet built the discipline, systems, and structure required to sustain the work.

Unfinished work has a way of telling the truth.

And my truth was that I didn't believe my dreams mattered.

That my stories were not worth promoting.

That I could lead a profitable publishing company.

So I would publish a book every few years, then let it linger on the virtual shelves of Amazon without connecting it to readers like you who would enjoy it.

That nonsense stopped when I published The Only I AM on October 11, 2025. My 48th birthday...and the birth of my 50 by 50 mission.

The 50 by 50 Commitment

Dream Doers Publishing is now being built with intention and momentum.

I’m currently living out a long-term commitment to publish 50 books by the time I turn 50. This is my DREAM DOER training ground.

It’s also how I’m clearing my creative runway, strengthening craft and discipline, and returning—aligned and prepared—to finish book four of the The Dragon Stalkers Bloodlines Saga and beyond.

This is not a restart.

It’s a reframe. Because now I have a new perspective. A new way of living. A new way of winning.

And a new transformation wing of the business.

I named it Adventurize Life^TM.

Why I Now Adventurize Life™

Adventurizing life isn’t about escape or fantasy.

It’s about engagement.

It’s choosing a Christ-anchored identity that shows up in real life:

- in discipline

- in courage

- in follow-through

- and in the willingness to train whatever the mission requires.

Writing was the first muscle I built.

Learning to finish was the next.

Now I’m strengthening another essential one: marketing—the skill of helping meaningful work reach the people it’s meant to serve so it can become more than a private accomplishment.

Dream Doers Publishing is where that full commitment lives.

This is the place where creativity, faith, discipline, and responsibility meet in finished work.

Adventurize Life is for those who are ready to work alongside me to transform their own lives.

In other words, Dream Doers Publishing is where the books live.

Adventurize LIfe is where training and community merge — through the League of Adventurous Authors.

And I am the original Adventurous Author.
